Copy and Paste
In the FASB Accounting Standards Codification® Research System, you can copy content from either your browser window or from a "Printer Friendly" window and paste that content* into other applications.
Copy and Paste Operations
To copy and paste content into word processing programs, simply highlight the desired text, copy it, and paste it into your word processing program.
There are two advantages to copying content from a "Printer Friendly" window rather than the original browser window. First, it is generally easier to select the content that you want to copy. Second, you are more likely to be satisfied with the appearance of the results when you paste the copied content into the target application (for example, into a word-processing document). If you simply copy and paste from the original browser window, the formatting is not preserved.
To retain the best source formatting–including heading, lists, and font formatting–copy & paste from Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 into Microsoft Word 2010.
